“Max burst into the space of   Ukrainian painting like a meteorite… huge canvases, powerful and explosive pictorial art”
Oleksiy Tytarenko

The exhibition is the retrospection of the creative work of Kiev painter Max Vityk, which presents the periodic masterpieces of the artists of 2 art cycles: “Huston” and “Ukrainian”.

There are 10 art works presented at the exhibition, which are performed in various techniques: canvas/oil, canvas/acryl, enamels. The concept of the exhibition is to show the works, which the spectator has no chance to see before.

The creation of the “Huston” cycle of Max Vityk took place in the city has the similar name, where the artist used to live for a long time. This cycle is the beginning of the realization of the creative energy of the master.
“Ukrainian” cycle is like a continuation of the “Huston”, however it is highly influenced by his nationality. This fact pushed him to create the second art set, which together with ‘Huston” cycle form harmonic and integral project, which spectator can view in Bottega gallery.
