Lecture of Gleb Vysheslavsky

It is impossible to create the future without knowing the past. Lecture of Gleb Vysheslavsky on the subject “Modern art. Key terms and tendencies” which took place in the Bottega Gallery during 23-24 of June, was dedicated first of all to the research of sources and pre-conditions of actual for today key art trends.

Even in two evenings, which divided the lecture into parts, it was extremely hard to explain in capacious and understandable way both volume and categories that made the whole historical period. But Gleb Vysheslavsky was the one performing, who is the well-known art critic, professional conceptual artist, experienced speaker and teacher.

The lecture, key attention of which was devoted to the modern and post-modern tendencies in the art of USSR and post-Soviet Ukraine, was accompanied by graphical commentaries. The preciousness of the information consisted in the fact that Gleb Vysheslavsky himself participated in many of the events he was talking about.
