Volodymyr Budnikov – is the artist, which known for his researches in metaphysics in the field of painting and for founding a "new-baroque" trend in nonfigurative painting. Works of Volodymyr Budnikov are in the museums of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Chernigiv, Sumy, Berdyansk. Also they are in the private collections and galleries of Ukraine, Austria, USA, Germany, France and Japan. The artist was born in 1947. Member of the National Artists Union of Ukraine since 1975.Hi is the Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine and Professor of Ukrainian Academy of Fine Arts. Lives and works in Kyiv.
