Ahra Adzhindzhal / about the artist

He was born in 1962 in Abkhazia. In 1982 he finished Sukhumi Fine Arts College. From 1982 to 1987 he studied in MSU named after M.V. Lomonosov on historic faculty (art history department). At the same time he studied graphic arts and painting. For some time he took lessons with a renowned Russian artist D. Lion. In 1987 A. Ajinjal defended diploma on history of contemporary art of Abkhazia (adviser: A. I. Morozov). 
From 1987 to 1992 A. Ajinjal worked in art magazine “Abkhazian art”. He authored over fifty articles and notes published in Abkhazia and Russia. 
At the same time, A. Ajinjal dealt with book and magazine graphics.  
From 1993 he has been living and working in Kyiv.
